FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The razor
Is this a men's or women's razor?
Neither — it's unisex. A single, correctly-angled blade cuts hair the same way regardless of who's holding the handle. It works on face, head, or body.
Why is a securely clamped blade better?
A blade that can wobble or flex mid-stroke catches hair instead of slicing through it cleanly — the same way a wobbly knife tears instead of cuts.
Why is a single blade better than four or five?
Extra blades mostly exist to patch problems the earlier blades caused. Fewer unnecessary passes over the skin means less irritation.
Is a single blade as safe as a multi-blade cartridge?
Yes — the blade gap and guard are engineered to match the safety margins of multi-blade cartridges, so you're not trading safety for a closer shave.
Blades
Does it use proprietary blades?
No. Paximio runs on standard double-edge safety-razor blades, available from many retailers.
Can it be used on the head or body?
Yes — the same mechanical case (fixed angle, low pressure) applies anywhere you'd use a razor.
